Set the scanner to USB HID keyboard mode, or pair it as a Bluetooth keyboard, and make sure it sends Enter after each code. At the register the “Scan or enter” field is focused automatically, so a scan adds the product; the same works in the product form's barcode field and when looking up a loyalty member by card code.
For codes that contain letters, keep the keyboard language on English while scanning; an Arabic layout can change the letters the scanner types.
Limits and conditions
- No Zebra model has been verified with ZAXORE yet: requires device compatibility verification.
- There is no Zebra-specific integration (DataWedge intents, scanner SDK or ZPL label printing).
- Stock counts, receiving and transfers have no dedicated scan field yet; quantities are typed.
- Card QR codes need a scanner with a 2D imager.
